Students have been creating amazing drama at Titirangi Theatre for decades with the encouragement of tutor John Goudge.
Acting classes develop confidence, teamwork and a sense of fun. Students learn skills for acting on stage in this comprehensive three-term programme.

Maximum 12 students per class.
2025 Acting Classes with John Goudge
Have fun, develop skills and confidence, gain experience for acting on the professional or amateur stage – with long-time experienced tutor John Goudge. Enthusiastic actors of any level may apply.
Term 1 - The Actor's Toolkit
Through scenes, games and exercises students develop their acting craft. Family and friends are invited to come along and see their progress on the last night of term.
Term 2 - Create Something from Nothing
Students learn how to think quickly, create characters and stories while working as a team. We create improvised scenes and games and invite family and friends to see a free performance on the last night of term.
Term 3 - What's My Scene
Students develop and rehearse a play, giving them real stage experience.
Three classes
Mondays 5pm to 6.30pm
Intermediate: Children in year 7, 8, 9 and 10 (11-15 year olds)
Mondays 7pm to 9pm
Adults: Any age 17+
Tuesday 4.45pm to 5.55pm
Junior: Children in year 4, 5 and 6 (8-11 year olds)
