Blending humour and history, this celebration of film culture is presented by Sir Bob Harvey, sharing stories from his time as a projectionist.

FRIDAY 26 JUNE

The Presidents Cake

Winner of the Caméra d’Or at Cannes, The President’s Cake follows a young girl in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq tasked with baking a birthday cake where failure is unthinkable. Blending humour and tension, it offers a poignant child’s-eye view of life under dictatorship.
