Learning Centre
Te Uru offers engaging learning opportunities for art enthusiasts of all levels. Set within the scenic surrounds of Titirangi, its purpose-built pokapū akoranga learning centre provides an inspiring space to explore both making and thinking about art.
Programmes span hands-on workshops for schools, holiday classes, and adult courses, all guided by specialist educators and expert guest tutors, designed to inform and inspire.




Kids Classes - Term 3
Sculpture Club
THURSDAYS

LEARNING CENTRE

Introduce young artists to sculpture through hands-on, playful making with materials like clay, papier mâché, wire, and found objects. Students explore form, structure, and texture while building creative confidence and problem-solving skills.
Suitable for ages 6–13. All materials provided.




Drawing Club
TUESDAYS

LEARNING CENTRE

Introduce young artists to drawing through fun, hands-on exploration with a range of materials and techniques. Students develop observation skills, confidence, and an understanding of line, tone, and composition while learning to draw from both life and imagination.

Painting Club
WEDNESDAYS

LEARNING CENTRE

Introduce young artists to painting through hands-on, engaging classes using acrylic and water-based paints. Students explore colour, brushwork, composition, and imaginative expression while building confidence and creative skills.
