NEW group: Titirangi: Tues Starts 21 July
EVENTLOPDELL HOUSETHEATRE
The Imperfect Parents' Group
Hosted at Lopdell House, Titirangi, The Imperfect Parents' Group is a welcoming and supportive space for parents of pēpi born approximately between February and June 2026. Open to parents of all genders and family sizes, the group focuses on nurturing parent wellbeing, connection, and confidence during the early stages of parenting.
Facilitated by Isla Holding, the 10-week programme runs on Tuesday mornings, 10am–12pm, from 21 July to 22 September. Sessions are parent-led and shaped by the needs of the group, creating meaningful conversations and practical support around topics such as identity shifts, responsive parenting, sleep, feeding, relationships, wellbeing, and navigating information overload.
Designed to help parents build their own “village”, the group offers a safe, non-judgemental environment where genuine connections can flourish. Alongside weekly sessions and morning tea, participants receive access to a WhatsApp support group, a private Facebook community, and discounted entry to the Imperfect Parents’ Nature Playgroup.
Cost: $329 per term (incl. GST), or $299 for participants who attended an Imperfect Parents antenatal course. Payment plans and koha (pay-what-you-can) spaces are available to help keep the programme accessible.
Previous participants describe the group as a place where they found lasting friendships, strengthened their confidence as parents, and felt supported as individuals—not just as caregivers.
