Etena Fest 2026

Lopdell Precinct is proud to partner with Tālili to present Etena Fest, a month-long celebration of dance, performance, culture and creativity across Waitākere. Featuring an outstanding lineup of local and visiting artists, the festival brings together contemporary dance, street dance battles, spoken word, workshops and live performance in a programme that is fresh, inspiring and deeply connected to place.

Rooted in the stories, landscapes and communities of Waitākere, Etena Fest celebrates the diversity of cultures, experiences and artistic voices that make this region unique. From high-energy dance battles to powerful performances, poetry and storytelling, the festival creates opportunities for audiences to experience bold new work close to home while connecting with creativity, community and culture.
